PUPO is a piano sonata by Composer Adam Vincent Clarke, composed for Dimitri Malignan. It premiered on May 12th, 2024 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. PUPO is a semi-programmatic work composed as a re-telling of the children’s story Pinnocchio, set in Eastern Europe. It is at times playful, touching, intense, and loving.
